A Class B CDL generally covers a single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more, and a trailer rated at 10,000 pounds or less. Common examples include straight trucks, dump trucks and certain buses when the proper endorsements are held.
The current program is structured as a three-week, 100-hour course: 40 hours of ELDT theory followed by 60 hours of hands-on range and road training.
